24kv three-pole load break disconnecting switch

 

Disconnecting switch is designed according to a modular system, parting from a non-load isolator switch (refer to section Non-load isolating switches), whose galvanized steel frame has several drillings that allow the conversion of an isolator switch into a

disconnecting switch without any problem, even when already installed in the field, by simply adding the arcing chambers. This

efficient design also allows the easy replace-ability of parts and maintenance.

The live parts of the disconnecting switch are made of silver plated electrolytic copper (99.9%), as well as the straight contacts.

Contact elements, due to their relative over dimension and a very high contact pressure, guarantee a minimum wear-off during the live of this equipment, offering a high resistance against the impacts provoked by short circuits.
